Every chance Elliot gets to talk about Sammy, he mentions that he's "broken."
"Mommy, Sammy's broken."
"Mommy, Sammy's still broken."
"Mommy, Sammy is broken. He's still broken."
He got attacked by Jelly Bean stickers.... |
Somewhere along the line, Elliot learned how to be really polite. I don't recall really drilling this stuff into him, but he says "please" and "thank you" and "your welcome" etc very willingly and without be prompted. It melts my heart every.single.time.
The other day, I handed him his juice cup and he said:
"Thanks Mommy, I appreciate it."
Melts.my heart.
Have a great weekend!!!!
Oh my gosh your boy is so cute!! I can't stand that cute little face. I just want to tickle him. Not that I am creepy or anything.
ReplyDeletePoor puppy! And Elliot sounds adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Mr. Politeness he is! One day I said to him "Thank you for coming over today Elliot." He said "You're welcome Grammy." Last Wednesday he said "I'm staying in trouble at home." I asked why he was in trouble, he said "I was being mean to the kitty." Love to see his smile and get his hugs!
ReplyDeleteChildren learn by example... you are doing a good job! I love his colorful picture!
