Motivate Me

I really really really like motivational quotes. Anything motivating at all is good with me. I've been working hard on losing weight (25 pounds gone, yeehaw!) and have decided that putting some motivational quotes on a post-it note would do wonders for my, well....motivation :)
While reading an article in Better Homes and Gardens titled "Working in Workouts" (which was of course followed by a few pages of ridiculous exercises done by a very in-shape-looking woman) there were a couple quotes that got me started and from there I decided to find some more:

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

You're stronger than you think.

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Instead of giving yourself reasons why you cant, give yourself reasons why you can.

Progress has little to do with speed but much to do with direction.

I love the last one, I'm not a very patient person and focusing more on the fact that I'm moving in the right direction instead of how fast I'm getting there is definitely something I need to do more often.....

What about you? Do you have any motivating quotes? Care to share?
Have a great Monday!!!

  2. Here's a couple of great quotes for you:
"It's not the will to win that matters--everyone has that.  It's the will to prepare that matters."  --Bear Bryant, football coach

"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses."  --George Washington Carver, scientist and inventor

    And my favorite:

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.  I just wish that He didn't trust me so much."  --Mother Teresa, humanitarian

You're doing great Em and I love you gazillions!!  Mom
