Free Christmas Printables!

Christmas. Such a wonderful time.
I come from a family where Christmas morning consisted of sitting and staring at the presents under the tree while my dad read the story of the birth of Jesus Christ from the Bible. It was torture. Now I do it to my kids =)
The hubs comes from a family where Christmas is all about the presents and getting the neatest and newest cool thing. I've seen many a home video of the excitement going on at their house on Christmas morning (love watching the hubs as a 7 year old, priceless). This is also a part of our Christmas.
I love decorating for Christmas. I don't go all out and spend major bucks on totally amazing decorations (though I drool over them in magazines and other blogs) but I do what I can with the little budget we have. One way to instantly decorate is to print out a festive printable and frame it. I showed you awesome people some of my favorites for fall and here are my favs for this Christmas season: (click on the source link under the picture and it will take you to the blog where you can print it, some are available in different colors than I've shown)

Thankfultude aka Gratitude

I have been so absent from my blog lately.....2 months absent. You know how when you leave something for so long it's hard to get back to it (like, shall we say, the treadmill?), well that's how I've been feeling. Not a day goes by where I don't think about my blog and how much joy it brings me and how I miss it but it feels like I've been gone so long that I can't return......
until this morning,
at 4:55AM Pacific Standard Time......
while I was laying on the very edge of my king size bed
with a 19 month old's knees in my back.

I couldn't stop thinking about ALL of the many many MANY things in my life that I am thankful for, including those incredibly cute little knees in my back. That also includes the little girl (YES, A GIRL!!!!!) in my belly who will be making her debut in about 13 weeks.

Once I started making the mental list in my head of all the things I'm thankful for, I thought "I really need to write this down." And then the thought: "The blog would be a great place to do it." So with that one thought, here I am. Without further ado, the list of things I am thankful for (and a picture or two).

1. The boys in my life
2. Family
(This is my entire family, my 3 sisters and their husbands, my parents and their 8 grandchildren)

3. Best Friends
4. My faith
(LDS Temple, Salt Lake City)

5. A home
6. Jobs that provide a steady income
7. Food in our cupboards
8. Health
9. Dogs
10. Chocolate
(Oh come on, you know they couldn't ALL be real serious things.)

While there are so many things I'm thankful for, they pretty much all fit into those categories. Like, I didn't post a picture of my extended family or my in-laws under family, but they are definitely included in that heading.
I didn't include the healthy baby girl that I'm currently baking in my belly under health, but that is definitely included under that heading.
There are so many little little things that I am thankful for, and really, it's all those little things that add up to big feelings of gratitude.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and are overflowing with gratitude, because everyone has something to be thankful for.

Until next time....whenever that may be =)
