Daydream believer and a homecoming queen

Mama’s Losin’ It
On a daily basis I daydream about winning a lot of money.I'm not picky, it could be the lottery or Publisher's Clearing House or one of those random penny slot machines or a great great great uncle who passed away that I didn't know I had or, well.....you get the point.

I daydream about this so much I already have it all planned out. We would pay off any debt of our parent's, give our siblings a set amount, pay off our debt, buy our dream house (which would obviously be on the smaller side-there is no way I'm cleaning a mansion every day!) and dream cars, put a good amount in a college education fund for our boys and then put the rest in some kind of account (IRA, 401K, stocks, bonds, yadda yadda yadda, blah blah blah...I don't know enough about that stuff at this point in time to really know what I'm talking about). Hubbyman would continue working, but in a job that he really really enjoyed, and maybe we would even start a music school for kids who couldn't afford the lessons otherwise.
(Oh, and how could I forget! I would definitely do a little bit of shopping. How could I not?! Don't you ever wish you could walk through a store and put every.single.thing you want in the basket, but you can't because you're responsible and know you should probably buy diapers instead? Yeah, well after I won a ton of money I could buy diapers AND everything else. So Great!)

Isn't it fun to daydream!?
What do you daydream about? Do tell!

Thanks for stopping by!!!!

It's my birthday!

I've always been a fan of birthdays, I know some people don't really get into them, but not me! Today, I turn 29 years old, 1 year away from 30....and I'm really excited! Guess who the first person to wish me "Happy Birthday" was?

Yup, my awesome dog....Sam (aka: Sammy, Samson, Smacky, SmackyJacks, Samdogmillionaire, Samantha....etc etc etc) the Welsh Corgi. I love dogs, they are so awesome.
Oh yeah, where was I? My birthday!
In honor of the day of my birth (and the day my mom had her 2nd c-section, love you mom!) I would like to show you the things that I have always wanted but am too cheap or too broke or always talk myself out of it by saying "do I REALLY need that???" Ready for some pictures?
Anyone who knows me, knows I love puppies!

new floor in my kitchen (and heck, why not the whole house!)
While I'm at it, how about a new kitchen!
A trip to Europe!
New makeup....cause let's face it, I'm a mom of a 2.5 year old and a 10 month old and I've had the same makeup for 6 years.
Flowers to plant in my flower garden (LOVE flowers!)
an iPad....yes, yes I do.
A new sewing machine
Someone to clean my house for me once a week (wouldn't that be SUPER AWESOME!)

Ok, now that I've bored you all with my list of ridiculous things I want for my birthday, I think I will continue on with my day and go finish the dishes and move the laundry from the washer to the dryer......(don't worry, I'm going on a date with hubbyman later today to celebrate in our nice, quiet, penny-pinching, usual way)

Thanks for reading!!!  I love your comments!! Have a great day on my birthday for me!
