Savor and share week 1

source
The inspiration from this post comes from a Starbucks advertisement in a magazine I've been reading. It's a silly advertisement, but obviously not so silly if I'm writing a post about it.....

The ad? It's about savoring and sharing every moment. Maybe you've seen it? If not, I'll tell you a bit about it. It's supposed to be advertising for a new Starbucks product, something called Natural Fusions coffee. It lists 5 weeks and a different thing you should practice savoring and sharing for that week. Week 1 is all about taking the time to connect with your family.

I read this and I thought it would be a great thing to focus on, savoring the everyday moments we share with our family. This is something we should be doing everyday anyway, but I personally know how easy it is to forget to enjoy the little everyday things...

So, this week, I'm going to focus on savoring all the little things that happen in my everyday life. Like sitting in the backyard listening to my {almost} 3 year old ask me "mom, should I go to the left?" and watching my 1 year old walk around in a swim diaper {LOVE his chubby little legs!} with tennis shoes on {no socks of course} enjoying his curiosity. Or laughing with the hubs when he shares with me a ridiculously silly thought. Or getting to meet my newest niece tomorrow {so excited!}....there is so much to savor and enjoy. So many things that can go unnoticed.

Which is why I'm choosing to take a little inspiration from Starbucks this week to focus on savoring my family.

Next week I'll be moving on to the next suggestion, which is taking the time to connect with my girlfriends, you guys should join me!

Thanks for stopping by!!
